What in Saint-Etienne's Name?...

Saint-Etienne's main rivalry is with Olympique Lyonnais, supposedly.

Wow, if they're fighting Lyon for bragging rights, then the Saint-Etienne players and fans have been shamed by Lyon time and time and time and time and time and time... and so on... again.
When they play Lyon, Saint-Etienne really, really sucks! Big time!

The statistics website soccerway.com only lists one victory for Saint-Etienne since 1994. (They don't have any more records, from before that.)

If your team only has one victory against their main rivals in 18 years, your team is crap!

No wonder they haven't won a title since 1981.

Saint-Etienne played like garbage against Lyon today, too, and it's a miracle that the goal hasn't come sooner than minute 81.
On the other hand, the Saint-Etienne players should be very ashamed that they only had to hang on for ten more minutes and they screwed it up so late.

But I'm sure their fans were used to seeing pathetic football against Lyon.
If I was them, though, I wouldn't even go to see the team play Lyon anymore. It's a recipe for disaster and anguish.
