Tottenham Loses Third Position

He, he, guess who's third in the English Premier League now?

It's not Tottenham anymore...

Maybe if they had played more properly against Manchester United...

Anyway, Arsenal won today, 1-0 at Everton, thanks to a Vermaelen goal (in minute 8). By the way, Everton also scored a perfectly valid goal, that was cancelled for offside.
(But that's another issue...)

Tottenham, on the other hand, could not get a win, playing at home against Stoke City. On the contrary, they even had to wait until the third minute of injury time for the equalizer. Man!...
Stoke had gone ahead, in minute 75, through a Cameron Jerome strike.

So, Arsenal now has 55 points, and finds itself in third, while Tottenham slides down to fourth, on 54 points.

Spurs also are now facing a tough game, possibly do-or-die, this coming weekend, against Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge. It should be a good one, because Chelsea also has Champions League aspirations, and a win against Tottenham could bring them to within two points of overtaking them, as well.
