LOSERpool Puts on Amazing Five-Minute Display of Amateurish Game-Play

For the first half of the game, Liverpool -- I'm sorry, Loserpool -- actually played well at Old Trafford.

And, then, when their players came out, at the beginning of the second half, something happened.
It was as if they had never played football together before in their lives. In five minutes, Manchester United had already wrapped up the points.

And much later, when the game was as good as over, Liverpool scored one, too. But the way this match progressed leads me to believe that, if a victory by two goals was worth more than a victory by one goal (like I'm proposing here), Suarez wouldn't have scored at all.

How the hell did Manchester United sneak in those two goals? They weren't doing anything differently. The only difference was that, all of a sudden, no Liverpool defender was defending Rooney. And Rooney was in their penalty box, too, not miles away from it.

I know it certainly seems preposterous, even to me, but with these weird meltdowns that most teams have against Manchester United, exactly when United is in an impasse, I'm beginning to wonder if Man. U. might be able to buy points even from teams like Liverpool.
Could Liverpool have traded the FA Cup victory for some Premier League compensation?

But, in the best case, if Liverpool played completely fairly, then they're a perfect example of what I'm describing here.
