Bayer No Match for Barca

After screwing up their title challenge in the Spanish league, Barcelona went to Leverkusen eager to prove themselves.

But, although Bayer worked hard to block Barca's football, and got lucky enough to tie the game at 1-1, early in the second half, there was no denying the Spanish giants.

Alexis Sanchez got a brace and essentially ensured that Barcelona would win the game. And I guess his goals should teach the Leverkusen squad not to use the offside-trap tactic against Barcelona.
In the end, Bayer did not use any of the tactics that their coach suggested, prior to the game. They did not put ten men behind the ball, and they did not attack Barca, either. They played something in between, and, as a result, they're good as out of the competition.

Another interesting mention: at some points in the game, Barcelona had almost 80% possession.
