Levski Sofia succeeded in a very hard encounter today.
Sure, CSKA may not have had chances to win the Bulgarian league title, even if they had gotten the draw, but they are Levski's bitter rivals through the years so they were hoping to see Levski drop important title points.
Ludogorets, the real current challenger, won 4-1 on the day, but Levski's 2-1 win is worth significantly more.
Because, looking ahead, the Levski - Ludogorets derby will take place at the Georgi Asparuhov Stadium in Sofia.
